RIIMFAXE is a group of artists founded through their enthusiasm and passion for materiality, tactility and aesthetics in their different artistic idiom.
The artists’ work encompasses diverse media; photography, graphic, painting, sculpture and installations. The works express a common statement about time, tenacity and craft expertise. RIIMFAXE emphasizes the artists own individuality and narrative, whilst at the same time the artists cooperate in promoting exhibitions of the highest aesthetic quality.
RIIMFAXE members inspire each other and exchange experiences, and through dialogue create exhibitions that reflect openness and authenticity.
RIIMFAXE was founded in 1969 by a group of Danish artists from the island Funen, who wanted to create an artist fellowship with recurring annual exhibitions. Today RIIMFAXE consists of both Danish and foreign artists, who exhibit twice yearly in Denmark and abroad.
